Happy New Year

Posted by mivaho in General - 2 Jan, 2008

Hi,

We would like to wish all our readers a happy new year. This will be the year that open source will be used by more people then in 2007. The year that people will see that open source is not something for geeks only. That you can use it in any business and that for (almost) every closed source program there is an open source counter part. We hope to see you back at OpenSourceBlog.net and we will do our best to keep you informed.

What came first the chicken or the egg?

Posted by sadevi in General - 2 Nov, 2007

The BBC launched an iPlayer that only supports Windows XP, because only a small number of linux visitors come to the BBC website, but why would they come to the BBC when the site's media downloads are Windows XP only?
Looks like a deadlock to me...
