BBC admits they had the numbers wrong
Last week the BBC claimed that the amount of Linux users was so low that is was not worth the trouble to optimize the BBC site for this user group. They claimed that only 400 to 600 users visit the site. BBC's Ashley Highfield has now admitted that they got their numbers wrong. The new estimate is between 36,600 and 97,600 according to his blog post. But since it still is only 0.3% to 0.8% percent, "they do have to keep this in context with the vast majority of users"
The question stays the same "What came first the chicken or the egg?" The Linux user or the accessibility?...
